(01/31/19) - Police were called to several accidents Thursday morning on slick roads throughout Mid-Michigan.
Part of I-675 south in Saginaw County was closed after a crash near Tittabawassee Road.
The icy roads affected traffic in Midland.
And in Genesee County, there were several accidents.
Most of them happened in the Grand Blanc area, as well as Flint Township.
Subzero temperatures didn't help the icy roads and highways.
Because of the cold, there were more than 300 closings and delays.
Schools, several businesses, and local agencies were shutdown.
All state offices were also closed except for essential services.
